Dark Tea / Pu-er Tea

Dark Tea (Heicha) / Pu-er

Dark tea gets its name due to its dark brown color. It is deeply fermented. The longer it is stored, the mellower it tastes. The raw materials of dark tea are rather coarse and used to make condensed tea. The black condensed tea is mainly sold to Tibet, Mongolia, and other border areas, thus it is named "border tea." It is an essential drink for the minorities. Yunnan Pu-erh tea is rather precious.
