Health Benefit: Assam tea is named after the Assam region of northeast India. It is commonly known as English breakfast tea. The phenolic compounds in Assam tea have antioxidant properties and function to reduce the damage of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species on your cells, reducing the risk of stomach, colon, rectal and breast cancer. The flavonoids in tea improve endothelial function - the function of the lining inside the blood vessels, cardiac valves and other body cavities.

Taste: Mellow black, with a creamy texture and a sweet buttery overlay.

Brewing Grade: Use 1-2 teaspoon (5g) for every 250ml of water. Steep it in hot water 70°c for 20 sec. Suitable for multiple infusions.
